Asset Building Network, Inc. -
2008 Program Report
Asset Building Network exists to
build and restore individuals and families to achieve self-sufficiency
through Case Management Services including Advocacy,
Counseling, Education, Employment, and Information and Referral
to children and women living in poverty. Asset Building Network, Inc
primary focus is to bring restorative solutions to disaster survivors.
We have been that place that opened our door and caring hearts with
smiling faces to give hope to those in despair, no matter the
situations. The gift we give to our client is the Listening skills that
our staff possessed. We are particularly good at identifying client
their needs, and then find solutions to the problems and issues that
affect them through Case Management and Counseling Services. We build
our clients with encouragement words to enhance their spiritual,
intellectual, emotional, mental and physical well being, and connect
them to resources.
We are grateful to our leadership,
the Board of Directors, especially our Board Chairman for his
commitment and dedication to the mission of Asset Building Network,
Inc. We also applaud the leadership of the Greater Houston Long Term
Recovery Committee and our community partners, and individuals who gave
themselves in service and ministry through the Local Unmet Needs
Committee, to meet the needs of clients’ on a weekly or monthly basis.
Their valuable time, talents, funds, encouragements, prayers, and
donations were highly appreciated. We are blessed to have moved into a
larger office space and have retained a part-time counselor to help
with client’s mental health needs.
